"Today at around 12:20 p.m., in Cara Dušana Street at number 136, a serious traffic accident occurred with a fatal outcome and several minor injuries. This accident involved several passenger vehicles and a bus from line 18 that left the garage and headed to the terminus to join the traffic. Circumstances under which this traffic accident occurred are still not known and the police is working to establish them," the GSP stated.
As the Telegraph writes, the bus tried to avoid a woman who was running across the street outside the pedestrian crossing, which is why it turned onto the sidewalk, hitting a girl (15) on the way who ended up under the vehicle. On the way, he hit several parked cars, and then crashed into the gate of the house.
The girl's body was pulled out from under the bus by firemen, and Ambulance teams could only declare death. A dozen people were injured in the accident, including a nine-month pregnant woman, a mother and a six-year-old child, a 74-year-old woman.
A large number of people in shock watched the scene on the street - a bus with half of it on the sidewalk and the front part completely in the yard of the house, three cars that were completely crushed and the covered body of the girl between them.
