Ukrainian military intelligence has claimed responsibility for attacks on a Russian oil pipeline in the Moscow region.
According to HUR, Ukraine is behind Friday's explosions and disruption of the Koltsevoj oil pipeline. It managed to disable it in the Ramenskoye area.
The Ukrainian attack carried out on Friday destroyed pipelines carrying gasoline, diesel and jet fuel for the Russian military.

"The pipeline provided the Russian occupation army with resources to wage a genocidal war against the Ukrainian people," Ukrainian military intelligence said in a telegram.
"Another successful HUR operation in Russia is a serious blow to the military capabilities of the aggressive state, as well as to its economy, especially in the Moscow region," the intelligence service added.
The length of the Koltsevoy oil pipeline is 400 kilometers. Fuel for transportation through the pipeline came from refineries in Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow. Koltsevoy was able to pump up to three million tons of aviation fuel, up to 2.8 million tons of diesel fuel and 1.6 million tons of gasoline annually.
"In fact, our strikes had a greater impact than sanctions. Through direct action, we caused much greater damage to the Russian Federation than any economic levers that have been imposed on it so far," stressed HUR head Kyrylo Budanov. (ČTK, SME)
