On August 10, as a result of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate, the LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka oil refinery was hit.

Ukrinform was informed about this by sources in the Ministry of Defense's Directorate of Military Operations.

The attacked enterprise is located in the Russian Republic of Komi, more than two thousand kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The affected facility is involved in supplying the occupation army with fuel and lubricants.

According to local Telegram channels, local residents heard several loud explosions in the area of the refinery, after which fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency services rushed there. Some local residents reported that as a result of the explosions, a hole appeared in at least one tank on the territory of the refinery. In addition, local residents reported the disappearance of electricity and mobile Internet in the city.
