Nabil Baha's men held their own against the Brazilian team before losing at the end of the match (2-1), at the Aspire Academy in Qatar, ending their run in the quarter-finals of the U17 World Cup in Qatar.

In the first half, both teams created several opportunities, before Brazilian striker Dell opened the scoring for his team in the 16th minute, taking advantage of a cross from his teammate Ruan Pablo.

Before the end of the first half, Ismail El Aoud won a penalty, which was then converted by striker Zyad Baha, thus leveling the score.

The second period also saw several chances for both sides, but neither managed to find the back of the net. Both coaches made a few substitutions, but it didn't change the scoreline.

It took until the very last minute of the match for Brazilian striker Dell to score the winning goal.

After losing their first two group matches to Japan (0-2) and then Portugal (0-6), they responded perfectly by thrashing New Caledonia (16-0). In the knockout stage, they first eliminated the United States (1-1, 4-3 on penalties) in the round of 32, before dominating Mali (3-2) in the round of 16.

Brazil, for its part, has had an almost perfect run. Leading its group with 7 points, the Seleção then eliminated Paraguay in the round of 32 and then France in the round of 16, after a penalty shootout.

In the semi-final, the Seleção will face Portugal, who beat Switzerland 2-0.
