According to investigators, all three deceased victims are women. They have been identified, but DNA confirmation is awaited for two of them.

Regarding the technical expertise, the investigators announced that they are working with the best specialists in the country. They have been at the scene since last night, the investigators said. They said that the investigation is complicated by the fact that there is a"quite high risk of the upper floors collapsing." The investigators could not enter the area affected by the explosion because it is very unstable, but drones were used to take photos.

Police Chief Gheorghe Cristian revealed that there is"a report of culpable destruction of paragraphs 1 and 2"."We are in the investigation phase on site (...) it will not end very soon (...) the conditions are quite unfavorable, the block has substantial damage", explained Gheorghe Cristian.

Investigators are looking into both human error and a technical malfunction. Between 20 and 30 people have been interviewed.
