Breaking news: US President Donald Trump delivered remarks at the historic Gaza Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Noting that Türkiye has one of the world's most powerful militaries, Trump thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his contributions to the Gaza ceasefire. Following Trump's speech, the leaders signed a historic"Document of Intent" for Gaza.

The historic Gaza Summit, held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, has begun. US President Trump made statements on the summit.
Trump, stating that the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza was very comprehensive and that it was a great honor to be a part of it, said,"We have an agreement on everything. We rescued the hostages. We took the hostages according to our plan. Unfortunately, we also found a lot of dead bodies. Some we haven't. We're trying to find out where the remaining bodies are. This is a very sad situation."

"I THANK ERDOĞAN"
Trump said, “We have ended a 300-year conflict. The leaders representing their countries at this table are very good. I also thank Qatar. He is a wonderful gentleman. A man I have been friends with for a long time.”
While praising President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Trump said, “I like tough guys better. I am talking about the gentleman in Türkiye. He has one of the strongest armies in the world. He has been there for me whenever I have asked for help. I thank President Erdoğan. He has a problem with NATO. They called me. They asked me if I could do them a favor. They asked me if I could talk to Erdoğan. He has never let us down. I thank him for his friendship.”
