PKK terrorists held a symbolic ceremony near a cave they dug in a mountainous region, burning their weapons. The event began at 11:20 a.m. and concluded in 11 minutes.

30 TERRORISTS BURNED THEIR WEAPONS IN A BOILER

30 terrorists (15 women, 15 men), including Bese Hozat, one of the so-called leaders of the organization, came to the area by descending the stairs behind the mountain.

After the declaration was read in Turkish and Kurdish, wood and diesel fuel were poured into a previously prepared cauldron, and weapons were thrown in one by one. Among the weapons burned in the cauldron were Kalashnikovs, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, and other heavy weapons.

CNN TÜRK Istanbul News Director Nihat Uludağ made the following assessment regarding the terrorists' weapons fire:"They dug a cave, turned it into a park, and prepared an environment there. Then there was a staircase leading up for the terrorists. The terrorists came down the stairs from behind those two mountains."

At 11:20 a.m., the terrorists began descending the stairs with their weapons. Thirty terrorists, 15 female and 15 male, descended with their weapons. They then proceeded to the area prepared for them.

TERRORIST ORGANIZATION PKK'S CEREMONY OF DISARMING LASTED 11 MINUTES

Bese Hozat was among those terrorists. Two women and two men sat at a table prepared there. The other terrorists waited in the background, ready to go. The female terrorist read the declaration. Then Bese Hozat read the same declaration in Kurdish. This incident, which began at 11:20, concluded at 11:31. In other words, the declaration reading took approximately 11 minutes.

At 11:43, there was a large cauldron right at the entrance of the area where the weapons had been prepared in advance. They placed them in that cauldron. They first added wood, poured diesel fuel on top, and kept them ready. After the declaration was read, the terrorists one by one threw their weapons into the cauldron.

They had all the weapons used by the PKK terrorist organization. They had Kalashnikovs, automatic weapons, rocket launchers, and sniper rifles. As soon as they were placed in that cauldron, the cauldron was ignited and burned.

CNN TÜRK Istanbul News Director Nihat Uludağ described the security measures taken at the PKK terrorist organization's arms laying down ceremony. Uludağ stated that a drone had been shot down in the area:

There was a serious security measure in place there. A drone was shot down in this area yesterday. A statement was made that it might have been a drone sent by Iran. When we reached this peak, anti-aircraft guns were on standby in case anything happened. Precautions had also been taken at critical points on Mount Qandil, and commandos were on standby. From morning on, entry and exit were halted, and a controlled operation was carried out. There were heavily armed Talabani regime soldiers stationed every 200 meters. MIT (National Intelligence Organization) had carried out excellent coordination.
