Six people have been killed and several injured in a shooting in Jerusalem.
Police are assessing the incident as a suspected terrorist attack.
“We saw people lying unconscious,” says an ambulance paramedic.

Two people boarded bus 62 at the Ramot Junction intersection, right on the city border with Jerusalem, on Monday morning and opened fire, Israeli media reports.
Six people have been confirmed dead, and several people have been injured, some of them life-threatening.
– The bus was full of people. When the doors opened, we got out, the terrorists came and shot like crazy. I was lucky that I was at the back door, and was able to run away. The terrorists came from the front, witness Malka Cohen tells Haaretz.
“Unconscious”
An ambulance paramedic has described the chaos at the scene.
"We saw people lying unconscious on the road and on the sidewalk at a bus stop. There was a lot of destruction, glass on the ground and a lot of commotion."
The two perpetrators, who according to The Times of Israel are Palestinians from the West Bank, were killed at the scene by two soldiers and an armed civilian.
Another person has been arrested on suspicion of aiding the perpetrators.
“The war continues”
The Israeli military is in the area around Ramallah in the West Bank after the attack to "stop terrorism and strengthen defense capabilities," writes Haaretz.
Police are describing the incident as a suspected terrorist attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the site during the day.
– The war continues, even in Jerusalem, he said, among other things.
Several world leaders have also sent condolences following the incident.
