As Zelensky stated on Facebook, the Russian army carried out attacks on Ukraine last night, using dozens of drones and nine ballistic missiles, and in those attacks there were dead and dozens of wounded.

He pointed out that the capital city, Kiev, was particularly targeted by the rockets, Ukrinform agency reported.

Zelenski sent his condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the attack.

According to him, ballistic missiles are also used in almost every Russian attack on the population of Ukraine.

"It is precisely because of such attacks that we pay special attention to the 'Patriot' systems so that we can protect our cities from this horror," Zelensky stated.

He added that it is very important that Ukraine's partners who have this possibility implement what was discussed in the past few days and continue cooperation with Kiev, because, as he stated, no country should be left alone in the face of evil.

"America, Europe and the member countries of the G7 group can help ensure that such attacks no longer endanger lives. Russian ballistic missile attacks require a response from strong forces that would help protect lives through real cooperation," Zelensky said.

Last night, Russian forces attacked Kiev with ballistic missiles, and on that occasion two persons died , while 12 were wounded, according to the Ukrinform agency.
