Russian leader Vladimir Putin responded with threats to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement that Ukraine would still receive long-range weapons from its allies.

"Russia's response in the event of Tomahawk strikes on Russian territory will be serious, if not stunning," the Kremlin head said.

According to him, talks about the possibility of supplying these missiles to Kyiv are"an attempt at escalation."

"Russia and the United States have many areas for cooperation if the countries move from pressure to serious dialogue in the future," Putin noted.

Strikes on Russia

The lifting of restrictions on Ukraine's use of Western long-range missiles was reported by The Wall Street Journal. According to the newspaper, this will allow Kyiv to expand attacks on targets inside Russia and increase pressure on the Kremlin.

President of the United States Donald Trump called The Wall Street Journal's article about lifting restrictions on Ukraine's use of long-range missiles"fake."

Today, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine never used American long-range weapons with the aim of hitting targets deep in the rear of Russian territory. According to him, Ukraine struck exclusively with weapons of its own production.
