US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin met at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.

As Ukrinform reports, this was reported by CNN.

US President Donald Trump welcomed Russian leader Vladimir Putin at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.

The two world leaders then shook hands.

They walked the red carpet together and posed for photos, but did not answer questions from reporters.

It is noted that during the meeting between Trump and Putin on the runway in Alaska, several American military aircraft, including fighter jets and, probably, B-2 stealth bombers, flew over their heads.

Putin then joined Trump in his presidential limousine, and they left the airport and headed for a joint meeting.

As Ukrinform reported, US President Donald Trump said that the main goal of his meeting with Putin in Alaska on Friday was to prepare a trilateral meeting, including with the President of Ukraine, to make decisions on ending hostilities in Ukraine.
