At 9:20 am, the security forces of the 2nd Army Region reported that Thai soldiers had cleared 90% of the Phu Ma Kua area and were prepared to respond immediately if Cambodian troops encroach further.
The remaining 10% of the area will be cleared between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, with plans to destroy the Cambodian military’s positions, including baskets, radar towers, and iron ladders that had been set up on Phu Ma Kua.
Afterwards, reinforcements in the form of a rifle battalion will be deployed to the frontline to allow the morning operational teams to rest. Additionally, heavy weaponry will be brought in to support the operation.
The destruction of the baskets, radar towers, and iron ladders will take place at 2:00 pm, as the operation is waiting for explosive material support.
In the meantime, the Cambodian military has suffered 10 fatalities, and a significant amount of military equipment has been seized.
