Morocco expresses its high regard for the sustained initiatives and personal commitment of Donald Trump, which have contributed decisively to achieving this hopeful result, and welcomes the constant efforts of all mediators, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad said in a statement.
The Kingdom of Morocco calls on all parties to fully implement this agreement in order to preserve human lives, release hostages and prisoners, in addition to the rapid delivery of humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities, the launch of the reconstruction operation and the opening of prospects for a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian cause, adds the same source.
The Kingdom of Morocco, whose King Mohammed VI chairs the Al-Quds Committee, reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the two-state solution as the sole basis for achieving a just and lasting peace in the region, through the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with Al-Quds-Asharif as its capital, including the Gaza Strip, and living side by side with the State of Israel, in security and peace, the statement continued.
The Kingdom of Morocco also reaffirms its full readiness to take an active part in all stages and mechanisms agreed upon, so as to guarantee the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and contribute to the stability of the entire Middle East region, the same source concluded.
