"All this madness we are seeing now is a direct result of the insane obstruction of the investigation that the Attorney General has been conducting for over two weeks," Levy claimed in a post he published on the X network while the searches were in full swing and when he feared the worst.

He added that the attorney general"did not arrest the MP, did not take her mobile devices, did not collect a statement from her, and did not even place her in protective custody. The attorney general must be arrested and interrogated tonight." After it was learned that the MP had been located, Levy wrote:"Thank God, now the attorney general is interrogated."

Hours before it was announced that the search for her had begun, and before the police announced that she had been"found safe and sound," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Blame her.

At the government meeting, he said that"the incident in the Yemeni field caused enormous image damage to the State of Israel and the IDF, to our soldiers." According to him,"This is perhaps the most severe propaganda attack that the State of Israel has experienced since its establishment. I don't remember an event that was so focused."

In parallel with the searches, the brother of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Tuvia Smotrich, spoke out on the issue, claiming that"the former MP is not the victim here." According to him,"What is true is that this is probably a much bigger story than we think. A very sad story for the State of Israel." Channel 14 presenter Boaz Golan wrote on Network X: "Is this an exercise by the former MP? Will she now claim insanity?" Another presenter on Channel 14, Yinon Magal, wrote on Network X that"the lynching can continue," and added a wink.

Shortly after the MPA was located, MK Tali Gottlieb of the Likud claimed that"the MPA belongs in detention! Her 'suicide attempt' is an attempt to regain control of the discourse, and to remove the shame of her actions from the headlines, and once again to blacken the people of the right. Well, gentlemen, the MPA had a lot to say and a lot of people wanted her not to say. A suicide attempt is nothing more than a solution to remove from the headlines the horror and scope of the lies of the top military prosecutor's office and the involvement of the MPA and her relatives." Gottlieb added: "The place of someone who conspired to commit a crime, disrupted legal proceedings, and breached trust is in detention and it is necessary to examine the feasibility of reaching a state witness agreement with her, which, by the way, many people are very afraid of."

During the search, one of the leaders of the anti-government protest, Shika Bresler, determined the death of the MP and compared the case to the murder of Rabin:"Those who incited against Rabin gained control of the police. The same police that did not protect IDF soldiers and the prosecutor's office when a mob incited from within and outside the Knesset invaded the Yemenite field and Beit Liad. Under this abominable pressure, the MP made a mistake. But let there be no doubt - this is the same ideology that led to Rabin's murder that also pushed the MP to his death. T.N.C.B.E."

President of the State, Isaac Herzog, said:"Stop the accusations and mutual attacks! Words that get out of control - ignite a dangerous fire and endanger lives. Now it is essential to lower the height of the flames, to show humanity and sensitivity. Along with the relief, the last few hours require us to draw immediate lessons. As a society and as a country, we will still need to research and learn a lot about the last few days and this shocking affair, with all the implications that derive from it."טלי גוטליב פוסט

The chief military attorney was missing for hours, and the police and the IDF launched an extensive search for her in the Tel Aviv Cliff Beach area, after her vehicle was found empty there. According to reports, she also left a letter behind. A police helicopter also participated in the efforts, along with forces from the Navy - who searched the water, along with IDF detection units using thermal drones. Tomer-Yerushalmi's lawyer refused to comment on the issue. The police were reported missing by her family. An IDF spokesman said that"the Chief of Staff instructed the Operations Directorate to activate all means to try to locate her as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, a demonstration scheduled to take place this evening in front of the MP's house was planned, canceled - and then resumed. A small protest developed at the scene, and some of the participants even threw eggs in the area.

Tomer-Yerushalmi was scheduled to be questioned in the coming days for possible offenses of suspicion of obstructing investigation proceedings, releasing classified materials, and making a false statement. The suspicion is that Tomer-Yerushalmi was involved in leaking the video from the case of the abuse of a terrorist at the Yemeni field camp, glossed over the investigation into the matter - and lied about it to two chiefs of staff, the High Court of Justice, the defendants, and the public. Former Defense Minister Yoav Galant said last week that Tomer-Yerushalmi"lied to me maliciously," when he asked her why the investigation into the leak was faltering.

In recent days, since she admitted that she authorized the leak of the video from the Yemeni field incident, which constitutes evidence in the indictment against five fighters, she has been subjected to harsh attacks and accusations that the story is a libel against IDF soldiers. MK Gottlieb earlier accused in an interview that"the MP is the enemy of our fighters." Transportation Minister Miri Regev wrote in X: "Why was the MP put on leave?! They made a case for our fighters, they harmed the security of the state and the name of Israel throughout the world! The Yemeni field incident is not a mistake, it is a blood libel based on the assumption of a crooked job by those who are supposed to protect IDF soldiers."
