The Israeli army announced, on Saturday evening, that it had bombed dozens of sites in Ahvaz, southwest of Iran.

"Thirty fighter jets launched attacks on dozens of sites in a series of raids targeting the Ahvaz region," the army said in a statement.

In addition, the Israeli Army Radio said,"The Air Force has completed another wave of attacks in southwest Iran."

"We targeted a Revolutionary Guard naval base, air defense radar sites, and ballistic missile sites," she added.

Since dawn on Friday (June 13, 2025), the region has been experiencing a dangerous escalation, after"Israel" launched airstrikes on Iran, targeting prominent leaders, nuclear scientists, and nuclear plants. Tehran responded hours later with hundreds of missiles that targeted the heart of Tel Aviv.
