Russia announced the destruction of six drones heading to the capital, Moscow.

"Three additional drones were shot down on their way to the capital, after three others were shot down earlier today," Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

"Two more enemy drones were destroyed while en route to Moscow," Sobyanin wrote on his official MAX channel.

He noted that emergency teams were working at the debris sites. It wasn't long before the mayor announced the downing of a sixth drone, bringing the total for the day to six completely destroyed drones.
