The US President said that he does not rule out the possibility of introducing American military units into Venezuela.

Donald Trump told reporters at the White House, Ukrinform's own correspondent reports.

"I'm not ruling anything out, we just need to take care of Venezuela," he said in response to a question about the possible deployment of US troops to the country.

The president once again reiterated that millions of illegal immigrants, former murderers and rapists, are allegedly entering the United States from Venezuela and other countries.

At the same time, he suggested that he could talk to Nicolas Maduro directly."I talk to everyone," Trump added.

As Ukrinform reported, the day before, the US Navy's aircraft carrier strike group, led by the world's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, entered the Caribbean Sea and joined the operation to counter drug trafficking in the region.
