Israel:"Tehran Evin Prison, 'Israel's Destruction' Clock Tower, etc. Airstrikes"

(Istanbul=Yonhap News) Correspondent Kim Dong-ho = Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported on the 23rd (local time) that Israel attacked the Fordow nuclear facility in central Iran's Gom Province again the day after the US military bombed it.
Tasnim quoted a Qom regional official as saying, “The invaders have again attacked the Fordo nuclear facility.” The Associated Press also quoted Iran’s state-run IRIB as saying the underground uranium enrichment facility at Fordo had been attacked. Israel has not yet confirmed whether the Fordo nuclear facility was attacked.
The US military used six of the seven B-2 bombers that flew from the US mainland to Iran to attack the Fordow nuclear facility with 12 GBU-57 bunker busters early the previous morning.
"At the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and me, the military is striking with unprecedented force against regime institutions in the heart of Tehran," Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said on X (formerly Twitter).
The targets of the airstrikes included the headquarters of the Basij militia, a paramilitary group linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Evin prison that holds political prisoners, a clock tower built in Palestine Square in 2017 to mark the time until the"destruction of Israel in 2040," and IRGC security cells, Katz explained.
Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi (53) and others are being held in Evin Prison, north of Tehran. The prison authorities said, “Some of the facilities have been damaged, but the situation is under control,” Tasnim reported.
