The Government and the Generalitat (Catalan government) have signed the first step toward ensuring that Catalonia collects all personal income tax and will allow the"wealthy" autonomous communities to contribute less to inter-territorial solidarity.

The Executive announces that after the summer it will present the new financing model to the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council.
