Ukrainian MP Andriy Parubiy, former speaker of parliament, was shot dead by an unknown man posing as a delivery man earlier today in the center of Lviv, in the western part of Ukraine.
In a video released a short time later by the Strana network, the killer is seen waiting for Parubiy to approach him, walking on a Lviv sidewalk, and when he does, he approaches and executes him. Reports say he shot him eight times, then fled.
The Ukrainian president has been briefed on the killing of Andriy Parubiy, who was shot by a food delivery courier.
Law enforcement is searching for the gunman and working to establish his identity.

Earlier, Ukrainian police confirmed that a shooting incident took place in Lviv and that a public figure and well-known politician lost his life. The perpetrator was an unknown man, who was posing as a delivery man, and a manhunt has been launched to locate and arrest him.
