Early Sunday morning, the United States bombed three of the Iranian regime's nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. President Donald Trump said they were"completely and totally destroyed."
In a White House address, he called the strikes a “spectacular military operation” and warned that “Iran faces a choice: peace or tragedy.”
Following the offensive, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that so far no increase in radiation levels has been detected at the Fordow nuclear site.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi asserted that the attacks “will have lasting consequences” and reiterated that Iran “reserves all options” to respond. Iran’s Atomic Energy Agency also stated that the country will “never” halt its nuclear program and called on the international community to condemn the attacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed his support for President Donald Trump, calling it a “historic” decision. Netanyahu said the Republican leader “acted to deny the most dangerous regime in the world the most dangerous weapons in the world.”
