The Israeli army continues its relentless attacks on Gaza. Spokesperson Adraee recently stated that the bombardment would continue and that high-rise buildings were the targets. Following this announcement, another 15-story building was leveled. Here are the details...
The Israeli army, which has put into effect its plan to occupy the city of Gaza, has destroyed another multi-storey building housing Palestinians in the Tel al-Hawa district in the southwest of the city.
THEY BOMBED THE 15-STOREY BUILDING
Israeli warplanes bombed the 15-story, 60-apartment"Es-Susi" building as part of the airstrikes launched before the invasion attempt on the city.
An Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent in the area noted that the building, which was leveled by the attack, was located on Sinai Street near the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
According to eyewitnesses, Palestinian families threw their belongings out of windows after Israel threatened to attack the Er-Ru'ya and Al-Susi towers in Gaza City.
‘WE WILL HIT HIGH BUILDINGS’
"We will strike high-rise buildings due to the presence of Hamas infrastructure in or near the tower. For your safety, you must evacuate the area immediately towards the humanitarian zone in al-Mawassi and Khan Younis," army spokesman Avichay Adraee said on social media platform X.
Claiming that the Mevasi region in the Khan Yunis city in the south of Gaza had been declared a"humanitarian zone", Adraee asked the people of Gaza to leave the city as soon as possible.
EVACUATION NOTICES WERE DROP BY AIR
Adraee claimed that Gazans could leave the city"without being searched" via Rashid Street. Meanwhile, evacuation notices were broadcast from the air to the public.
THEY HAVE BEEN TARGETED MANY TIMES
Arguing that Mevasi has basic human needs such as a field hospital, medicine, food and water, Adraee claimed that humanitarian aid would be delivered to Mevasi in cooperation with the United Nations and international organizations.
The Israeli army had previously declared the Mawasi region a"humanitarian zone" many times, but had repeatedly targeted both the Palestinians who went there and the tents of Palestinians displaced in Mawasi.
