White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said that President Donald Trump is"tired" of making every effort to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
"The president is extremely frustrated with both sides in the war, and he's tired of meetings for the sake of meetings. He doesn't want any more talk. He wants action. He wants this war to end. He's spent over 30 hours in the last two weeks on the war alone, talking to the Ukrainians, the Russians, and the Europeans," Leavitt explained.
When asked by a journalist whether Washington would send a representative to Paris this Saturday, where a meeting between Kiev and several European leaders is expected to take place, Leavitt replied that the US would send one if they deemed it"worth the time."
The American media outlet Axios notes that the meeting in question is expected to be attended by high-ranking diplomats from Ukraine, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
