The FBI has released photos cut from surveillance cameras of a man wanted in connection with the murder of Trump influencer Charlie Kirk. The photos show the man wearing jeans, a long-sleeved T-shirt, sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Along with the photos, the FBI released a statement. “We are asking for the public’s help in identifying this individual in connection with the shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” it said, but did not say whether the person in the photo was the suspected gunman.
Charlie Kirk was shot and killed by a sniper during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. Investigators said in a press conference Thursday that they have not yet identified the shooter, but are looking for a male college-age suspect. They also said they have tracked the shooter's movements on campus before and after the shooting and found a long-range, magazine-less rifle in a nearby wooded area that they believe was used to fire the fatal shot.
