Macron said,"Israel's attack on Qatar today is unacceptable, regardless of the reason. I would like to express my solidarity with Qatar and the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

"Under no circumstances should the war be allowed to spread to the region," he said.
