"Boom Panadda" received amulets and Garuda coins from Luang Por Warah distributed to soldiers on the border, condemning Cambodia for laying landmines, preparing to gather evidence to file a lawsuit at the International Court of Justice, and clarifying the slingshot drama, insisting that Cambodia started it first. At 4:30 PM on August 9, 2025, it was reported that"Boom Panadda's" first mission after being appointed as a volunteer spokesperson for the NBTC, which Gen. Nattapol Nakphanit, or Big Lek, Deputy Minister of Defense, in his capacity as Acting Minister of Defense, appointed yesterday. Many people said that the appointment was to feud with Lt. Gen. Malee Sojiata, Cambodia's Defense Spokesperson.
Today, Boom Panadda met with Luang Por Warah of Wat Pho Thong, Bang Mot, Bangkok, the legendary creator of the Garuda, to receive 2,000 cloth talismans and Garuda coins to distribute to soldiers along the Thai-Cambodian border to boost morale and encourage frontline soldiers. Luang Por Warah also donated a full 6-wheel truckload of consumer goods to accompany Boom Panadda's Good Deeds Foundation convoy.

Furthermore, Boom Panadda, as a volunteer spokesperson for the NBTC, also gave an interview regarding the issue of soldiers from the 111th Infantry Company stepping on a landmine, saying that she condemns the serious wrongdoing of Cambodia in the case of soldiers stepping on a landmine. She confirmed that Cambodia placed the bomb on Thai territory because the coordinates of the area had already been verified. Such actions are not right and should be condemned because they caused Thai soldiers to lose limbs, even though there had been a meeting and negotiations to have both sides cease fire.
The next step is to secure the area. However, when Thai soldiers entered their territory, they encountered a mine, and numerous more were found in several areas. Going forward, we will try to find as many mines as possible, and we are currently gathering evidence to proceed with a lawsuit in the International Court of Justice.
Boom Panadda added that she has confirmed that the military will not retreat due to a lack of confidence. However, some citizens have returned home today. However, out of concern, she urges the public to listen to official announcements for everyone's safety.

When asked further whether she had any message for Lt. Gen. Malee Sojiata, Boom Panadda said she had nothing to say because the other side hadn't said anything about her. She viewed the appointment as spokesperson for the NCPO to confront Lt. Gen. Malee as just a joke, but in reality, Thailand wanted to communicate with the international community to know the truth, having already overlooked Lt. Gen. Malee's situation.
Ms. Boom Panadda also gave an interview about the slingshot controversy, stating that local soldiers had already reported the facts since the ceasefire agreement between the two sides. After that, Cambodian soldiers used slingshots to shoot into the Thai side, keeping Thai soldiers up all night. She confirmed that the Cambodian side initiated the attack, but it was surprising because the Cambodian military initiated it first. There are images circulating on social media of inventions of slingshots, and the images confirm who initiated it first. Therefore, Cambodia should not be idle.
