Terror Investigation Angle

A new case of serious peer violence in which a 17-year-old was seriously injured.

A brutal attack took place at a vocational school in Zagreb on October 8. During Bread Day, one of the students shouted at the girls that they were"prostitutes". The 17-year-old told the student to stop and pushed him into a wall, Jutranji list reports.

After class, the student who had been taunting the girls waited for the 17-year-old in front of the school, accompanied by his adult brother."I'm going to beat you up," the older brother said, according to the victim's mother.

A bloody fight then broke out in the park. The boy was hit hard in the head and fell to the ground. The attacker stepped on his face, knocking out four of his teeth and breaking his nose and jaw. The 17-year-old still has bruises from the kicks to the stomach. Several other students also watched the attack, but no one intervened.

When he woke up, he was pale, disoriented, and couldn't even remember the names of his family members. His mother took him to the emergency room, where he suffered another shock.

"The attacker was also in the emergency room because he injured his leg during the fight," said the mother. He told her that the fight was good practice, as he was about to fight professionally. The 17-year-old who was attacked had to undergo emergency surgery and is still receiving treatment in the hospital. He had to eat through a straw for several days.

The mother rejected any possibility of reconciliation or agreement from the school."They almost brought my son home in a coffin. There will be no agreement."

The police had already been notified of the attack, and the attacker had also reported the 17-year-old.
