The Public Force has once again dealt a crushing blow to the dissidents of 'Iván Mordisco'. On Sunday afternoon, in the Nueva York area, a rural area of the municipality of El Retorno, Guaviare department, alias Dumar or 'Chito', the main leader of the self-proclaimed Martín Villa Mobile Block, was neutralized during operations.
The National Police, through an intelligence operation coordinated with the Armed Forces, allowed the fall of a powerful man responsible for the murder of several soldiers in recent months.
According to authorities, Army troops engaged in combat against members of the aforementioned Bloc, resulting in the death of this man.

In this operation, another criminal was killed and six members (including two women) were captured."At this time, fighting continues in the area with the Armed Forces commandos.," a source told this newspaper.
This leader, who on several occasions ordered the beheading of soldiers, had a criminal record of approximately 15 years, being part of the extinct FARC and later, of the dissidents led by 'Mordisco'.

EL TIEMPO learned that it was a five-month police intelligence operation, coordinated with the Armed Forces, specifically with the Joint Special Operations Command (CCOES).
Alias Dumar, on May 5, 2024, commanded criminal actions against the National Army, in which 4 professional soldiers died in a rural area of Argelia (Cauca) and had direct orders from 'Iván Mordisco' to consolidate the strategic corridors of Meta and Guaviare, with members from Cauca and Nariño.
This man also led confrontations with the dissidents alias Calarcá in recent months and had an arrest warrant for aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime.
Criminal career
Throughout his criminal career, between 2014 and 2016, ‘Dumar’ was a member of the now-defunct 40th Front; between 2016 and 2022, he was part of alias Mayimbú’s security detail; in 2022 and 2023, he was the ringleader of the Jaime Martínez structure, Jacobo Arenas Western Bloc; during 2023 and 2024, he served as the company leader of ‘Alberto Poño’, of the same structure; finally, from 2024 to the present, he led the Martín Villa Mobile Bloc as its main leader.
For this subject, the Government of Meta offered a reward of up to 50 million pesos, due to his participation in forced recruitment of minors, transported from Cauca to Guaviare and Meta.

Alias Dumar was also identified as the main person responsible for the attack against Army troops in Argelia, Cauca, in May 2024, in which four soldiers were killed. He was also blamed for the armed confrontations that occurred in January 2025 in the departments of Guaviare and Meta, as well as the displacement and confinement of communities and peace signatories in the region.
