We are only a few hours away from Doha hosting the emergency Arab-Islamic summit tomorrow, Monday. The summit, held in light of recent developments in the region, will discuss a draft resolution regarding the Israeli attack on Qatar.

Ahead of the Doha Summit tomorrow, Cairo News Channel has reviewed the most prominent emergency Arab summits since the founding of the Arab League:

    1946 in Egypt: Arab Solidarity with the Palestinian Cause

    1956 in Beirut: After the Tripartite Aggression against Egypt

    1982 in Morocco: The Arab Peace Project was approved.

    1985 in Morocco: To discuss the Palestinian issue and the deteriorating situation in Lebanon

    1988 in Algeria: Support for the Palestinian popular uprising was approved.
