President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the assassination of Andrii Parubii, the former speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, stating that his killing was"carefully planned" but also that Ukrainian authorities are involved in the investigation.

“Law enforcement officials – the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General – report to me regularly. They are investigating the circumstances of the murder of Andrii Parubii. Many forces are involved – all the necessary ones,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, as quoted by Ukrainska Pravda. 

“Unfortunately, the crime was carefully planned. But everything possible is being done to solve this case. I also spoke with Vasyl Maliuk. The Security Service of Ukraine is involved in the investigation. I have instructed them to provide the public with verified information without delay,” the Ukrainian president said.
