Washington. The US House of Representatives voted Tuesday to release the Jeffrey Epstein case files after Donald Trump withdrew his opposition to the measure.
The almost unanimous vote came after Trump, a former friend of Epstein, withdrew his opposition to the disclosure and endorsed the legislation, which now goes to the Senate for approval.
The House of Representatives approved, by 427 votes in favor and only one against, the bill for the Department of Justice to publish new files related to the case.
The project urges the Department of Justice to release all possible information related to the federal investigation into the sex trafficking network run by the deceased billionaire and those involved in it.
