A drone attack was repelled on the morning of July 27 in the Leningrad Region; more than 10 drones have already been shot down, the region's governor, Alexander Drozdenko, reported on his Telegram channel.

According to him, falling debris was recorded in Gatchina and Voyskovitsky settlement. There were no fires or casualties, the governor wrote. In addition, the UAV was shot down in Lomonosovsky district, where debris caused fires in buildings in the private sector. The fire has been localized, Drozdenko noted.

Later, he wrote that there were more downed UAVs, but did not specify their number. According to the head of the region, the debris fell in the Kingiseppsky District and on the territory of the industrial zone in Primorsk. There were no fires or casualties as a result of the attempted attack.

In the wake of the UAV attack, Rosaviatsiya introduced restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft at Pulkovo Airport in the morning. As of 10:20 Moscow time, the measures are still in effect.
