The Hebrew version of the i24 News channel reported on Wednesday that the UAE has barred Israel from participating in a security conference in Dubai.

The channel reported that the UAE informed the Israeli Ministry of Defense that Israeli security industries would not be allowed to participate in a security conference planned for Dubai.

The source indicated that the announcement was officially conveyed Wednesday morning to both the Israeli Ministry of Defense and company managers.

According to the same source, they explained in Dubai that the decision was made for security reasons, but high-level sources in Israel believe the move is a direct response to the attack on Qatar that targeted senior Hamas leaders in Doha.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army and Shin Bet announced that the air force had attacked, for the first time in Qatar, senior Hamas political leaders in an operation dubbed"Summit of Fire" or "Day of Reckoning."

According to various reports, the targeted meeting was attended by senior Hamas officials Khalil al-Hayya, Khaled Meshaal, Mohammed Ismail Darwish, Ghazi Hamad, and Izzat al-Rishq.

The leaders were then negotiating the US president's proposal for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire in Gaza.

While Israel hinted at the success of the operation, Hamas denied that senior leaders had been assassinated.
