US President Donald Trump made statements regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House next week. The Republican leader stated that he “expects a ceasefire in Gaza to be implemented within the next week.”

US President Donald Trump said in a statement outside the White House regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington next week that he will make efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

"We hope that the ceasefire will happen and we expect it to happen within the next week," Trump said.

Regarding the agenda of Netanyahu's visit to Washington, Trump said,"We will discuss the great success we have achieved in Iran."

Trump reiterated his claim that Iran's nuclear facilities had been "destroyed" and said,"We will also talk about Gaza."

NETANYAHU AT THE WHITE HOUSE NEXT WEEK

According to Israeli media reports based on diplomatic sources, Netanyahu will visit the United States next week.

It was noted that Netanyahu is expected to meet with Trump at the White House on July 7 as part of his visit to the US.

On the other hand, it was reported that Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer in Washington will meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump's Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff tomorrow.

Witkoff is also expected to visit the Egyptian capital Cairo this week as part of negotiations for a ceasefire and prisoner swap agreement in Gaza.

It was reported that Dermer's trip was planned to prepare for Netanyahu's possible visit to Washington and that the ceasefire in Gaza and the expansion of the Abraham Accords would be discussed.

It was claimed that the US side was preparing to put pressure on Israel regarding a ceasefire in Gaza.
