The possible outcome of the Israeli-Iranian conflict, in which the US has already intervened, was discussed in the new Delfi podcast"Let's Talk Simply", created by Delfi editor-in-chief Rasa Lukaitytė-Vnarauskienė and director of the Vilnius University Institute of Political Science and International Relations Margarita Šešelgytė.

Surprised even the experts

M. Šešelgytė recently returned from America, so in the podcast she shared her observations on what to expect from the USA and D. Trump.

"I learned that I don't know anything, probably even less than before I went to the US. And I had to attend meetings there, so it seems to me that everyone and every expert says quite different things, but everyone's conclusion at the end of the day is that there are too many unknowns and Trump is too unpredictable. This is how you can predict what will happen with Iran," said M. Šešelgytė in a podcast that was recorded before the US attacked Iran, and at a time when the whole world was considering whether America would directly get involved in the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
