In addition, Zelensky clearly said: the transfer of territories to Russia is prohibited," said the advisor to the head of the Presidential Office.

"This is not just a constitutional issue. It is impossible to unilaterally cede territory to the aggressor," he explained.

Podoliak noted that even in the event of a freeze on the war, analogies with the"Korean" or "German" scenarios are inappropriate.

At the same time, he confirmed that if such a scenario were to be implemented, it would mean de facto, but not legal, recognition of the temporarily occupied territories.

"De jure, no one recognizes these territories as Russian," he summarized.
