From her house arrest in the Constitución neighborhood, former President Cristina Kirchner compared herself to Brazilian President Lula da Silva, who"was persecuted, they also used lawfare against him until he was imprisoned." And then the former vice president challenged Javier Milei: "They tried to silence him, and he returned with the vote of the people."
"Lula was also persecuted, they also used lawfare against him until they put him in prison, they also tried to silence him. They couldn't. He returned with the vote of the Brazilian people and his head held high. That's why today HIS VISIT WAS MUCH MORE THAN A PERSONAL GESTURE: IT WAS A POLITICAL ACT OF SOLIDARITY," the former president noted in a post on her X account.
Cristina Kirchner spoke out a few minutes after the Brazilian left her home, given that she took advantage of her trip to Argentina, where she participated in the Mercosur Summit, to visit the convicted former vice president.
At the beginning of a lengthy post on her social media, the former president highlighted the visit of"comrade Lula" to her home, where he is"under house arrest by decision of a judiciary that long ago stopped hiding its political subordination and became a political party at the service of economic power."
PLANNED MISERY AND LOW-INTENSITY STATE TERRORISM.

TODAY WE RECEIVE COMRADE @LulaOficial at my home, where I am under house arrest by decision of a Judiciary that long ago stopped hiding its political subordination and became a party…
"The eyes of the world are watching closely as Argentina is experiencing a genuine authoritarian drift at the hands of the Milei government; in what we can identify as low-intensity state terrorism," Cristina Kirchner said, using capital letters to emphasize some passages of her message.
Cristina Kirchner welcomed Lula da Silva to her home in Constitución.
In this context, the former leader of the Justicialist Party referred to the arrest warrant issued by San Isidro judge Sandra Arroyo Salgado for four people who were allegedly involved in the attack with poop on the home of Libertarian deputy José Luis Espert.
"Just yesterday, we saw how (Security Minister Patricia) BULLRICH had several colleagues arrested. All of them... women, young people, and activists. She did this at the request of José Luis Espert, for whom his opponents only deserve 'jail or a bullet,' just as we saw on June 18, when they were identifying and harassing people marching to mobilize at Plaza de Mayo," he stated.

After questioning the actions of Javier Milei's government, Cristina warned:"It cost us too much to build ARGENTINE DEMOCRACY to allow it to be dismantled step by step now. However, that same democracy IS TODAY BEING EMPTY FROM WITHIN BY A GOVERNMENT THAT CALLS ITSELF 'LIBERTARIAN'... BUT ONLY GIVES FREEDOM TO THE RICHEST."
"NOW BULLRICH WANTS THE FEDERAL POLICE TO BE ABLE TO MONITOR WHAT PEOPLE POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA WITHOUT A WARRANT, IN ADDITION TO PREVENTATIVE ARRESTS WITHOUT ANY CRIME... Are you complaining about how the country is doing?... Are you making fun of the government on a social network?... Then, maybe the police will knock on your door. We already see how it happens in other countries, and it seems they want to import that too," he questioned.
Cristina spoke of a continental experiment and"low-intensity state terrorism."
After questioning Milei, he drew a comparison with the dictatorships of the 1970s in Latin America and spoke of"low-intensity state terrorism."
"This is the authoritarian drift... This is the low-intensity state terrorism that Argentina is experiencing. THEY ARE TURNING THE COUNTRY INTO A CONTINENTAL EXPERIMENT. Just as Pinochet made Chile the laboratory for the Chicago Boys, today they want our country to be the testing ground for Milei and the Caputo Boys," Cristina wrote.
And he stressed:"STARVATION WAGES, TOTAL PRIVATIZATION, ABSOLUTE SURRENDER TO THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND."
Brazilian President Lula da Silva visited Cristina Kirchner.
For the former president,"what completes this grim picture" is the media "sitting low for fear of the President, the boss's orders, or the loss of advertising; repressive laws; opposition leaders who are being prevented from stepping onto their balconies."
"It's all part of a preventive attack against the people's ability to organize. Especially in light of what comes after October, when (Economy Minister Luis) Caputo has already announced that the real chainsaw is coming: pension reform, labor reform, and tax reform," he warned on his social media.
However, the former president considered that the plan"is not going to work out well" for the libertarian government and lashed out: "They know that IF THE PEOPLE SPEAK, IF THEY ORGANIZE, IF THEY DEFEND THEMSELVES... THEY WON'T BE ABLE. Just like the hundreds of thousands who mobilized to Plaza de Mayo on June 18. There were too many of them to be intimidated. And, also, THERE ARE TOO MANY OF US, WE ARGENTINES TO BE KEPT ALONE, SCARED, AND WATCHED."
"WE HAVE SOMETHING THEY WILL NEVER HAVE: AN US. And a US the size and history of the Argentine people... it neither shuts up nor stops. THIS US ALWAYS COMES BACK. LULA PROVED IT IN BRAZIL, AND WE WILL TOO," he noted.
Cristina dedicated another"Che Milei" to the President
In the final stretch of her post, the former president once again used her now classic"Che Milei" to launch a dart at the libertarian for his management of the polar wave."What are you doing? The only thing you can think of is putting another 6.4% surcharge on bills?"
"SKY-ROATING RATES, stoves turned off, you talking about how you did a good job in Mercosur... and YOU LEFT MAR DEL PLATA WITHOUT GAS? Come on, bro... KEEP SELLING SMOKE... too bad it doesn't heat," he declared.
