Trump noted that they were pleased with the development and performance of Syria, saying,"We are doing everything we can to ensure that the Syrian government continues to take important steps to build a true and prosperous country."
Noting that he took an important step for the development of Syria by lifting sanctions, Trump stated that he believed this was also appreciated by the Syrian people.
