As a result of a massive Iranian missile attack against Israel on June 14, five Ukrainian citizens were killed in the city of Bat Yam, including three minors.

Ukrinform was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

According to preliminary information from the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel, on June 14, five Ukrainian citizens, including three minors, were killed as a result of a massive Iranian missile attack against Israel and a missile hitting a residential building in the city of Bat Yam, the department informed.

The identities of the deceased are currently being established. Ukrainian diplomats and consuls are in close contact with the Israeli police and other services to identify and organize the procedure for the repatriation of the bodies of the deceased.

As Ukrinform reported, rescuers in Israel have discovered the bodies of eight people who died as a result of missile strikes by Iran on the night of June 15, 200 people were injured, and more than 30 people are considered missing.

The Israel Defense Forces launched strikes on Iran on the night of June 13, attacking dozens of nuclear-related targets and other military facilities. Iran responded by launching more than 100 drones into Israel over a period of several hours.

Airlines on June 13 redirected or canceled flights that were scheduled to operate in the airspace over Israel, Iran, Iraq, and Jordan.
