US press: The Israeli army has launched a ground operation in Gaza. A ground operation has also been launched against the Gaza Strip, where bombardments are ongoing. Israeli tanks have entered Gaza, and warplanes are conducting heavy bombardments.

ISRAEL STARTED A FULL-OFF OCCUPATION OF GAZA

Israeli hostage families said about the ground operation that started:"Netanyahu chose to sacrifice the prisoners by occupying Gaza."

Following reports that airstrikes in Gaza City had intensified, a written statement was issued from the umbrella platform established by relatives of Israeli prisoners.

The statement read,"We are deeply concerned by reports that intense attacks on Gaza have begun this evening. The 710th night in Gaza may be the last night for the prisoners who managed to survive. It may also be the last night for the bodies to be found and buried."

The statement noted that there were still many live captives in Gaza City, and that Netanyahu deliberately chose to sacrifice the captives for political reasons.

The statement conveyed that Netanyahu is responsible for the lives of Israeli prisoners and that the Israeli people will not forgive the sacrifice of prisoners and soldiers.

Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, and Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir reportedly ignored requests from families of prisoners to meet with them to obtain information about the attacks in Gaza.

Palestinian media reported that the Israeli army launched an intense attack on Gaza using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and Apache helicopters.

Israeli media reported that the explosions in Gaza City were heard as far away as Tel Aviv and other central cities, and that windows in the southern settlement of Netivot were shattered by the explosions.

ISRAEL AIR STRIKE ON LEBANON'S NABATIYAH CITY

Twelve civilians, including four children and seven women, were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese city of Nabatiye.

In a statement published by the Ministry of Health in Lebanon's official news agency NNA, it was stated that Israel targeted the city of Nabatiye with an airstrike.

The statement, which stated that 12 civilians, including 4 children and 7 women, were injured as a result of the Israeli airstrike, noted that the injured were transferred to hospitals in the region.

The statement shared that two of the injured children were in critical condition.

NNA announced that Israel also targeted the town of Yater, located in the southern border region, with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Despite the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon that came into effect on November 27, 2024, the Israeli army continues to launch attacks on southern Lebanon almost daily.

Although the Israeli army has partially withdrawn from southern Lebanon, it continues to occupy five strategic hills it captured in recent clashes.
