Hamas Response and Negotiations

The Hamas group, in response to Donald Trump's latest warning about a ceasefire and the release of hostages, said it was ready to immediately sit down at the negotiating table with its own conditions.

This was reported by The Times of Israel, Ukrinform reports.

Hamas welcomes any steps that help efforts to stop the aggression against our people, the statement said.

It is claimed that HAMAS received some ideas from the American side aimed at achieving a ceasefire.

The statement stressed that the group is ready to immediately sit down at the negotiating table to discuss the release of all prisoners in exchange for a clear declaration of an end to the war; a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip; and the establishment of an independent Palestinian committee to govern the Gaza Strip.

As Ukrinform reported, on Sunday Donald Trump stated that Israel had agreed to his proposed conditions for ending the war, and urged Hamas to accept them as well.
