Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan revealed on Friday that his country has completely severed trade ties with Israel.
"We have completely severed our trade relations with Israel," Anadolu Agency quoted Fidan as saying during an extraordinary session of the Turkish parliament on the latest developments in Gaza.
He added,"We do not allow Turkish ships to sail to Israeli ports. We do not allow Israeli aircraft to enter our airspace."
He pointed out that "Türkiye has suspended its trade relations with Israel since the start of its war on Gaza."
Fidan explained that "all countries that previously rejected the two-state solution are now convinced that there is no other solution."
He continued,"Israel is still seeking to plunge the countries of the region into chaos. There is no solution but the two-state solution."
The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that his country "opposes the plan that proposes the deportation of the Palestinian people from Gaza."
